"I would never go with this agent again. They were fine taking our money for years and found time every year or multiple times a year to make sure to call me and try to get more insurance policies for them. And though they had time to do that when they surveyed my house and found something that needed fixed they just dropped my home policy. No call, no email, no letter! Didn't let us know ever until I happened to find out about it another way. When I called to ask what had happened they admitted they get lists of coverages that could be terminated and he said “I guess I just didn't get time to call about it on this one”. If something had happened to our home we would have never known they dropped our coverage without telling us. I would never trust them to insure any of my stuff ever again. If you want State Farm at least go with another agent who will actually communicate with you."

"We have been blown away by the service that we have received from Jake Kay and State Farm. As retirees, we have dealt with our share of insurance providers over the years. It has almost always been a headache to try to file any type of homeowners or automobile claim. I assumed that’s just how insurance was. And then we met Jake Kay. The coverage we have received is not only better than any coverage we have ever had, the rates are lower than we have ever paid! We’ve had to file two claims, and both times the process was actually enjoyable, if you can even imagine such a thing in the insurance space! Jake was enthusiastic and speedy in processing our claims and in helping us have a happy outcome in both instances. What a sharp contrast to the many times over the years that so-called insurance providers have ghosted us or had very difficult claims processes that practically required legal assistance to receive even partial compensation. I can recommend Jake Kay and State Farm insurance without any reservation. I only wish I had known about State Farm 40 years ago!"

"I’ll give two stars just because they were nice people. There was a miscommunication and I wanted a safe driving thing removed. Instead of removing that they completely canceled my car insurance without an email, text, call, letter in the mail. I had to call back multiple times to try to get this fixed and for some reason they were unable to get it fixed. Told me it just wouldn’t show in my account for possibly 30-60 days and that then I’d be responsible for back payments even though it wasn’t showing as active. The entire thing was a mess and this all happened not even within 2-3 weeks of switching and doing business with them. Don’t recommend"
